The Arduino workshop was attended by 11 students, some of which were official members of Bloominglabs and others who were not.  Those who were not members had found out about the workshop through social media and radio ads on local IU stations, where Bloominglabs frequently advertises.  3 of the students were females, 8 were males, and 3 of the students were also 6th - 12th graders (1 female and 2 males).  

The adult students came from a wide variety of fields, some of which were related to technology and others which were not.  Every student that I spoke with had the same reason for attending: an intrinsic motivation for learning more about programming with the Arduino computer chip based on what they had seen, read, and heard about from others.
